Darby & Ruby's
Babies
Ruby was bred with Darby and delivered 10 pups on January 29th, 2009. Ruby is a field line setter with
very strong hunting instincts and Darby is our old fashioned field line setter
Our pups are only placed with approved families that have shown to be compassionate and caring
individuals. The pups will have limited AKC registration rights and placed as family pets, with no breeding
rights. We also do not ship our puppies due to the fact of the socialization care we give them and do not
want a negative impact on what we have accomplished or put them through any distress.

Day 3: Ruby is proud as
can be of her new babies
and much rested. She
loves to smile and show
off her babies every time
we come into the nesting
room.
Day 7: My we are getting big! All this great care
is making us grow fast! Sunday we are 10 days
old and we all started walking and this is cool,
we really can get around now.
We currently have no puppies available at this time.
Day 1 : Whelping Day, Ruby
and her pups immediately
following last pup whelped.
Week 3: Today we are 23 days old and growing by leaps and bounds! Our eyes
are totally open and we love to make puppy growls, grunts & little barks at
everything we see! We also now get to start playing and nibble on our siblings.
This is so much fun!
Week 4: 31 days old
We finally get to show off! So much is happening now, we moved out of our mom's nest and have lots of toys and a
big room to roam around in. We also started weaning and we had no clue what she meant by that, except now we get
to make a mess, we have puppy milk all over us when we eat and we get as much as we want, oh this is the life!

Week 5: On Saturday, we moved to this big building and we were a little
frightened. But now we love it, we get to play with all kinds of stuff and
romp around with each other and our mom plays with us all the time!
Week 6:
Well we all decided we love the big playroom and most of all we can get into a lot of things and go outside everyday!
Today, we had the most fun, as we ventured into the brush and came out all sticky with some kind of yuk! Our human mom
says we will encounter this thing she calls a burdock, many times in our future, what a funny name. We had fun even though
we were all covered with these sticky things!
Week 7: Almost time to say goodbye...We will miss our mom, dad, our big setter friends and of
course our human mom and dad, but we know that we will be loved very much by our new family.
Our human mom re-assures us everyday, that we will be spoiled very much and loved. We also
know we will never forget what a great time we had and how much we were loved!
